Chris Hoon is a third generation farmer that has been in the wine industry since 2001. He was raised just a few miles from Two Blondes Vineyard.
“It’s been a real help to have a good understanding of our local weather and seasons,” he says.
He also works as the “cellar guy” for Sheridan Vineyard, the vineyard which abuts Two Blondes.
"Getting to experience the wines from planting the vines to marketing the right wines to the right consumers has been rewarding. It has driven home that small adjustments in the vineyard can make significant differences in wine quality and ultimately, in the consumer’s appreciation. Helping Two Blondes develop into the exceptional vineyard that it is has been a lot of fun and a real learning experience."
